I Love to Tell the Story is a beautifully diverse compilation of 25 personal faith stories from individuals all over the world, telling how each person met Jesus and his love. Written for children ages 6-10, the book encourages young readers to also meet Jesus personally, and experience the depth of his love for them and for “every nation, tribe, and tongue.”

Our Children’s Hearts

Nothing encourages me more in my own faith journey than when I hear someone’s story–their testimony–of how they first met Jesus and his love. And when the stories keep coming, and come from all over the planet–well, for me, it’s living proof that God’s love is actually unstoppable.

As a pastor, youth-serving nonprofit leader, therapist, and parent, my deep hope for every child is for them to “grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge – so they may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:18-19).

This is the heart of I Love to Tell the Story. Over and over, one after another, every story invites children’s hearts to meet Jesus and his wide, long, high, and deep love.

Every testimony (as Sara Groves sings) adds to the beauty, tells a better story, shines with the light, burning up inside. For every child we love (including ourselves), may it be so!
